Publication of “La clef des Songes”

La Clef des Songes ou Dialogue avec le Bon Dieu” by Alexander Grothendieck, was recently published by Éditions du Sandre, with an afterword by Laurent Lafforgue, member of the Institute’s Scientific Council.

The editorial summarizes:

From his childhood and his time spent in a French internment camp during the Second World War to his pioneering work in the field of mathematics, from his involvement in the nascent ecological movements, in particular the anti-nuclear group Survivre et Vivre, to his retirement to rural life at the dawn of the 1970s, Alexandre Grothendieck methodically, finely and lucidly explores the events and relationships that have woven his existence.

A rigorous examination, a work that, in his own words, leads him, through investigations of dreams, psychoanalysis, creation, meditation, silence and listening, along the spiritual path of self-discovery and God”.
