New research fellowship in topos theory and AI

Giovanni Giorgis, a young scholar coming from ETH – Zurich, has been awarded a research fellowship of the Grothendieck Institute as part of the project “Implementation of structural and topossic ideas in Artificial Intelligence” led by Prof. Olivia Caramello at the Centre for Topos Theory and its Applications (CTTA)

Giovanni, who began his fellowship on 1 November 2025, will contribute to the development of new AI systems, leveraging certifiable outcomes and meta‑learning principles, drawing upon the theoretical tools elaborated by the Centre.
