Phil Hoad has written a long, poignant article about Alexander Grothendieck for The Guardian.

The piece mainly focuses on the last part of Grothendieck’s life and the relevance of his work, notably topos theory, for the development of new forms of AI. It features, among others, his children Alex, Johanna and Matthieu, Olivia Caramello and Laurent Lafforgue.
